The Kingsway – High Street, Kings Heath – fenced off car park.
Looks like the historic Kingsway cinema is to be restored. It was severely damaged by fire many years ago and has laid derelict since then. Although it was unused by the time of the fire.
New plans to restore historic former Kings Heath cinema
It was built in the 1920s. Was later a bingo hall but it closed in 2007. The fire was 4 years after that.
The damaged section at the back will be demolished but the facade will be kept.
