A breath of fresh air. Well written. I feel a little sorry for the generation of women who bought into the radical feminist dogma and realized too late that it wasn’t what they really wanted. But that’s what can happen when you let someone else do your thinking for you.

I agree with the author’s evaluation of the feminist movement, but it is always easier to describe what is wrong with society rather than put forth valid solutions. I think as men and women we must all value the raising of the next-generation more than we currently do. We must realize we all have to sacrifice tremendously in order to raise children who can navigate the choppy seas of modernity.

Great, objective book about how women got to be where they are today in the modern mindsets, roles and responsibilities. Makes you really think about how you’re living your life as a wife, mother, and working or stay at home woman. Loved that it wasn’t preachy about any certain way of feminism, but objectively told all sides of the story. I’m now re-evaluating my “rooms” after this book.
