Everyone struggles to figure out who people truly are. Often when they define themselves they focus on the negative or how they compare to other people. Nobody but you can define who you are but this article has some tips on how to look at the ways you define yourself and how to make it positive. Be careful how you characterize yourself. Don’t characterize or define yourself by some temporary quality.

This book was a great read. Ian Branneth really did a marvelous job here. If you want to learn more about yourself, this book is a great start.

I am a public speaker and my work has a lot of crossover with typical motivational and self help stuff. Since I always talk about this type of stuff I end up reading several self help books per week and to be honest, most of it is crap. Like really bad rehashings of Tony Robbins. Here is why I gave this book a 5 star, Ian actually adresses the role of the body in “finding yourself.” I think all too often people forget that a large chunk of our nervous system is in the body and when you are “Finding yourself” what you are really doing is getting back in touch with yourself. You are literrally coming back to what it feels like to be present and in your body. This is the cornerstone of emotional health in my opinion, Im rambling but long story short, this is a very unique and good self help book. Easy read too!

This is a wonderful book that will take you from your current wandering and help you find yourself. It starts by exploring how exactly you are currently stuck and then presses into getting you unstuck. The next trick is using a journal. It is much easier than it initially seems. This step alone is worth the price of this book. Next, the author plunges into how watching your breath can help calm your soul and give you focus, unlike anything you have experienced in the past. The final part of the book looks under the hood at the reasons you have the issues you have at a deeper level!
