I read many NDE experience books but this one goes beyond the ‘story’. Robert shares the wisdom he has gained from all 3 of these experiences in ‘everyday language’. Yeah, so anyone can read this and come away with simple directions on how to be present to this Life we are living right now and appreciate what compassion, kindness, self-acceptance, giving..etc can do for us as we journey here.

    Loved it!!

This review is from: How to Survive Life (and Death): A Guide for Happiness in This World and Beyond (Paperback)
When life seems a bit overwhelming and the need is there to take time out and step back, Robert Kopecky (RK) provides a great body of work to do just that. Through the launching pad of 3 near death experiences, where part of him leaves the body and looks down on the physical wreckage that remains, he raises a myriad of questions, and possible answers to who we are, where we are going and how we should lead our lives as we head to our physical ending. RK leads us up the ladder of life, from the beginning, climbing to the inevitable end that we all reach, introducing perspective and an attitude shift about ourselves, those around us, our environment and universe. He leaves you to wonder and question, is everything we hold so dear, feel so important and worry so much about, really that dear or important. All of us are somewhere on one of the rungs of that ladder, and everyone will find something to relate to and find meaning of comfort in as we approach that physical parting. RK builds a strong case for the probability that as we leave the physical body behind, there appears to be a another dimension of being and energy that exists for us to travel on through the universe.
