This scale is working great. My wife had a reaction to a steroid she was prescribed. It cased high glucose levels. As a result, she has to limit her carbs. This scale does a great job of doing the math with portion sizes.

The values given are very accurate. We tested the scale by measuring out several foods and comparing the values to the ones listed on the foods packaging. The numbers were the same, or very very close.

One of the nice features is the ability to add one measurement to another. So when making a salad, it will keep track of the ingredient’s nutritional info as you add things. About the only thing I wish this scale had was a backlit display. That would be really helpful. Since the scale sits under an upper cabinet, the display can be hard to see sometimes. Other than that,

I was looking for an accurate scale to make sure I’m eating the right amount of protein, carbs and fat per meal. This scale do an excellent job and more. I give it for stars because I was also looking for a scale that doesn’t turn off after a minute of not using it. I’m kind of slow at adding food to the scale and the constant on/off bugs me.

I like the concept of this scale. It is beautiful, clean, very, very attractive and modern. The one thing I didn’t like is all the pre-programmed codes are full of junk food or foods that someone who is counting macros wouldn’t necessarily eat, like a lot of processed foods, like name brand sugary cereals, etc. I can’t find “grilled chicken”, but I can find “fried chicken with skin”. Really? I was expecting more whole foods, but not very many. I guess I can program them but I wish it had more options pre-programmed. I give it 4 stars because I love the design and concept. But people who eat friend chicken are probably not going to be counting macros. I want to have more options for lean meats, lean cuts, whole grains (I can’t find rolled oats, but I can find apple cinnamon oats!), or there is only two options of brown rice, long grain uncooked, and cooked. what about short grain? Unhealthy people don’t count macros.
