Delving into one of her books is like coming home after struggling through a desert, June 26, 2015

Although I haven’t finished reading it yet, there is a reason…because I don’t want to see it come to and end! Delving into one of her books is like coming home after struggling through a desert; thirsty and travel-worn, then home at last. Her books are always a “good buy” for me, as I know I will read them over and over, finding something I didn’t see before with every read. She keeps dishing up my comfort food….and I keep lappin’ it up!

I have read and done many things in the search for Enlightenment. Some authors speak with clarity, some with authority, some with depth and some manage to point directly to what is always here, always now. Gina Lake writes with all of the above qualities, in a way that leaves nothing untouched. If you found yourself feeling what Awakening is all about, but unable to take the step towards, well, towards Now, this is an excellent bridge, because it speaks in both extraordinary and mundane ways. You will fall in love with the kindness, the graciousness and the acceptance that flow form this book.
For all the seekers, try it! It just might be the last step in suffering and the first step into Being!

I have “studied”, if one can all it that, Eckart Tolle’s “Now” series. They are all very good.

I stumbled upon “Embracing the Now”, and was warmed by what was Gina was saying. She makes at once detailed points, and yet presents the succintly, and then goes back to more generalized points. I felt I got to know this thing called “Ego” much better. By being led how to look at it, I begin to understand why it should be “laughed” at.

This is the first book I have read of Gina’s…I shall read many more.

My wife doesn’t like reading much, largely because she spends so much time in the car. I would love it if this book were put on a CD (could be more as I get to know her writing).

    Read this book.
