    This book is easy to read, and very quick. It’s simple, goes straight to the point, and is just plain common sense. Eat to live rather than live to eat. We already knew that, but nowadays hardly anyone follows that simple rule.
    The second half of the book describes a bunch of very easy and efficient exercises (with photos) you can include in your daily life.
    That’s it, no fluff, no false promises, just plain common sense!

    (The pictures come out just fine on a Kindle.)

    This book has helped me a lot during my journey to lose weight. In order to lose weight you really need to focus on both exercises and eating habits. They go hand in hand and in most cases you won’t be able to reach your goals with just one aspect (from my experience). I have read quite a few books that deal with different aspects of weight loss and found this one helpful. For people to expect this book to cover everything that has to do with weight loss is a bit unrealistic. You can “look inside” the book (click the image) and look at the table of contents, it’s quite obvious what the book covers. Take this into account before you complain that this isn’t what you were looking for.

    I am slowly progressing towards meeting my goals, so far over the last 6 months I have lost 23 pounds as of my last weigh in. On top of watching what I eat, including always eating breakfast I also take Raspberry Ketones to help with weight loss and for appetite suppressant. It seems to really help. I have also found the workouts provided to be helpful, I have incorporated some of them into my gym sessions but another thing to think about is taking protein at breakfast. I read it was very helpful for weight loss to drink a protein shake of around 20-30g of protein as your breakfast. I am currently trying it for a month to see how it goes.

    I love to read health books, and I grant that they often contain similar information presented in a new way. This book comes off as if written by a thirteen year old who has just discovered well known information, and assumes no one else knows about it yet. I actually laughed out loud when the author made the analogy about seeing a friend who yells at you and then asks you to move furniture. It was too ridiculous. None of the information has anything backing it up, so it ends up coming off like someone’s random thoughts. I also expect an author who is writing a book about losing weight, to know how to spell the word losing, especially if it’s the second version of the book, as we’re constantly reminded. I would also expect any author to know the appropriate use for commas and the difference between using who and whom. The overuse of exclamation points is also quite annoying! (heehe) I felt that really made the tone of the book seem juvenile! Well, that and the horrid grammar and spelling, and the obvious lack of editing. It’s also obnoxious that the author seems to be constantly high fiving himself throughout the book for being smart enough to figure all this out. There might be some helpful hints there if you are a preteen or someone who has never picked up a weight loss article, but the way it’s written makes it easy to get lost in the ridiculous wording and silly analogies.

    This is a little book but with all essential details for a perfect start in Ketogenic diet: basic info, effective tips and amazingly tasty and healthy recipes makes this book number one for me on dieting. I’m enjoying my new meal plan so far and feel more energetic.
