Thanksgiving Salad

October 10, 2005 marked Canada’s Thanksiving holiday.

My family had a potluck dinner. Mom made the turkey and stuffing, dad made Italian styled bread appetizers with anchovies, capers, miso, and others, my brother made BBQ veggies to accompany the turkey, and I made this appetizer goat’s cheese salad.

This is one of my favourite salads to make… and eat! Warm goat’s cheese salad.

Goat’s cheese wrapped in phylo pastry on a bed of mixed greens, topped with toasted walnuts, raspberry vinaigrette drizzled on top, and garnished with fresh raspberries on the side.
