Question by Matthew D: Why do conservatives fear public authority but not private authority?
1 percent on the population has 34% of the wealth.
10 percent of the population has over 70% of the wealth.
Wealth is power. No one crosses the wealthy and gets away with it. In fact you can lose your livelihood if you simply annoy them. And they don’t answer to voters or a bill of rights. So tell me conservatives, why do you prefer power to be concentrated in the hands of the very wealthy few that is not subject to democratic processes? How is that greater freedom?
